The team at Hey Dude Skin Care takes the idea of simplicity very seriously.  There's enough chaos and confusion in the world outside, so in thinking through what a Dude needs to take care of his appearance, why bring that chaos into his bathroom?

While we have many other products we will be releasing to complement what's already available, they all are based on the idea that men are SIMPLE (but not simple minded!) creatures.  Men buy, they don't shop.  Men groom, they don't preen.  Men think in terms of tools and how well they perform for a certain function to solve a certain problem.  Men are visual, and tend to use a product in a different way than women do, like using certain fingers to apply a cream instead of the way a woman would apply it.  Let's face it - Dudes think and behave differently from the ladies, and far too many grooming products treat us like we're all the same.

So in producing the Hey Dude Skin Care series, we have delivered a set of high performance grooming tools that serve specific functions, and when possible, combine functions like cleansing and shaving to appeal to a guy's desire for efficiency and SIMPLICITY.  By carefully addressing the needs and wants of the modern Dude, we introduced the idea of Dudification - and in the process created a simple, 4-step grooming process that any Dude will find easy to follow - Exfoliation, Shave, Post-Shave, and Moisturizing.  Of course, a Dude will want to do more (like using a SPF 15 tanner and showering with a double pheromone body wash), but keeping the core process simple is what Dudification is all about.
